STEP is a non-profit organization, evangelical in commitment, ecumenical in scope, global in vision. The essential theological position of the STEP is expressed in the Statement of Faith in the Constitution, which reads as follows:
GOD: There is only one God, eternally existent in three persons; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; who is of one substance and equal in power and Glory.
Christ: in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of God the father, in His second coming, in His personal future return to the earth in power and glory to rule a thousand years.
Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity, is one of the substance, majesty and glory with the Father and the son and eternal God. He proceeds from the Father and is sent by the Son He dwells in the hearts of true believers building them with spiritual power, energy and leads them into all truth.
Bible: The Bible contains sixty -six canonical books of the Old and New Testament is the only inspired infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
Salvation: The only way one can be cleansed from the sin is through repentance and faith in the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ.
Church: The Church is “called out” community whose head is Jesus Christ, from far and near and united as one body who is under obligation to carry out the great commission of the Lord according to Matthew 28:18-20.
